Our Customers

At Chicago South Shore & South Bend Railroad, we’ve spoiled our customers – and that’s a good thing! South Shore customers have learned that when they are in need, we’ll be there. Whether it’s an extra switch, a hot car or a special move, we’ll do what is necessary. With approximately 60,000 annual carloads, no business is too big or too small for the South Shore. We have customers for whom we handle tens of thousands of cars each year and other customers who ship only a few dozen cars each year. Big or small, we take ‘em all.
