Chicago Southshore Safety Committee

Mission Statement

1. To improve and ensure safe working conditions for the employees of the Chicago SouthShore Freight Line.
2. Maintain open communications between departments.
3. To provide a timely response to safety concerns. No safety issue is too small not to deserve investigation by committee members.
4. Continuous monitoring of safety practices to detect possible patterns and make necessary corrections.
5. Members will make themselves available to all employees.
6. Attention to new employees to ensure proper knowledge of safety practices.
7. All committee members will encourage safe practices by leading by example and we will work together to accomplish the CSS Mission Statement.
